I would like to welcome you to the North Central Middle School website! North Central Middle School is composed of three grades (6-8) with approximately 400 students. Our faculty and staff work hard in developing successful and responsible students by providing a positive, challenging, and safe environment in which to learn. Utilizing state of the art technology, our students are exposed to the curriculum in many innovative ways. We offer many programs to enhance the school experience for our young Patriots. Seventh grader, Chandler Caulder
has qualified for the 2015 National History Bee Finals
and will compete on May 23 in Louisville, Kentucky.  
Chandler has also been notified by the National Geographic Society
that he is one of the semifinalists eligible to compete in the
2015 South Carolina National Geographic State Bee
sponsored by Google and Plum Creek.  
The contest will be held in Columbia, SC
on Friday, March 27, 2015.  We are grateful to 
Mr. David Pollock and Mr. Brian Leininger
for their support of Chandler. 
We wish you luck Chandler!!

NCMS received it’s four years in a row PALMETTO SILVER AWARD
for Academic Achievement. This is the fifth Palmetto Silver Award earned by NCMS.
The school also received a Palmetto Silver Award for “closing the achievement gap”
for categorical students. This is the second time the
school has been recognized for closing the achievement gap.
